TANAPA WINS 2025 INTERNATIONAL QUALITY AWARD FOR THE SIXTH CONSECUTIVE TIME

The Tanzania National Parks Authority (TANAPA) has once again won the prestigious International Quality Award 2025 – the European Award for Quality Choice Achievement 2025 in the Diamond category, presented by the European Society for Quality Research (ESQR).

The award was presented during a gala dinner organized by ESQR in Stockholm, Sweden, on the night of May 29, 2025. It was received by the Ambassador of Tanzania to Sweden, H.E. Mobhare Matinyi, TANAPA’s Conservation Commissioner CPA Mussa Nasoro Kuji, Senior Assistant Conservation Commissioner Godwell Olle Meing’ataki, and Chief Conservation Officer Eunice Msangi, who oversees TANAPA’s Quality Management Systems.

This is the sixth consecutive Diamond-level award bestowed by the renowned European Society for Quality Research, underscoring TANAPA’s excellence in tourism services and dedication to conservation.

According to ESQR’s CEO, Michael Harris:

“The Tanzania National Parks Authority has been awarded the International Quality Award 2025 in recognition of its outstanding contribution to conservation and tourism services. TANAPA continues to be a global leader in delivering quality and excellence.”

Ambassador Mobhare Matinyi expressed Tanzania’s pride, stating:

“It is a great honor for Tanzania, through TANAPA, to be recognized as a recipient of the ESQR Quality Award 2025 for the sixth consecutive year. This achievement reaffirms Tanzania’s position as a premier international tourism destination.”

On his part, TANAPA’s Conservation Commissioner, CPA Musa Nassoro Kuji, dedicated the award to the President of Tanzania, H.E. Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan, for her tireless efforts in promoting Tanzania as the world’s second most attractive country for natural attractions. He highlighted her role in spearheading two globally acclaimed films, “Tanzania: The Royal Tour” and “Amazing Tanzania.”

“President Samia truly deserves this award for two key reasons: first, the two international films she personally participated in have raised global awareness of Tanzania’s beauty; and second, her guidance, directives, and commitment have greatly enhanced the quality of tourism and conservation services in the country,” Commissioner Kuji emphasized.
